Kathy is a lifelong resident of Barrington, she owned and operated Hinsdale Tack Shop in Downers Grove a well established store in the Chicago area for ten years.  After that she worked at Barrington Saddlery for ten years, 7 of which she was general manager.
 
Kathy is a seasoned equestrian and breeder who brings a lifetime of expertise to the equestrian industry, with several Canadian National Championships and US top tens on horses she bred. With Kathy’s strong working knowledge of the equestrian industry, she found that her interest continuously returned to the affect that the fit of the saddle has on a horse and its performance. This awareness made her seek out more training as a saddle fitter and to discover the Trilogy saddle line that helped to give her tools and solutions for many of her fitting questions. She has now dedicated herself to her saddle fitting business as a full time venture, she feels that it was impossible to provide the clients with superior fitting service doing fittings on a part time basis. “Trilogy saddles sell themselves. So my focus is to show my rider’s that the best saddles come from educated and reliable saddle fitters, who have invested themselves in you, the rider, your horse and works continuously to present the appropriate saddle model, the correct fit for both and is always available to support you with service in the future.”
